Akron foodies to check out food items styling at museum, globe cuisine at library

Two downtown Akron establishments have entertaining foodstuff functions coming up in November: the Akron-Summit County Primary Library and the Akron Artwork Museum.

First, on Nov. 3, the museum will offer you a course on the latest food obsession with charcuterie boards. “Sip in the Studio: The Artwork of Food items Styling” will be available from 6 to 7:30 p.m., with food items stylist Liz Stannard of Waxed Crescent Grazing Co. of Akron sharing strategies on developing a gorgeous charcuterie board to wow visitors for the holiday getaway time.

Participants will develop a single-serving board with cheeses, healed meats and seasonal accompaniments, which they can just take dwelling or appreciate all through class with a complimentary glass of wine.

Then on Nov. 12, the library will host “Akron Eats: Globe Cuisine,” a cost-free celebration of neighborhood diversity and lifestyle by means of delicacies from noon to 3 p.m. downtown.
